The state of Brandenburg in the former East German region of this country’s northeast. Many tourist areas in this state, one of the best areas is the place called Uckermark. The Uckermark is a region in northeastern Germany. Mostly it is located in the state of Brandenburg, Kliner only one part – the city of Strasburg – is reckoned administratively to the neighboring Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Capital of Brandenburg is Potsdam, a special state surrounding the capital of reunified Germany, Berlin. Adjacent to Mecklenburg Vorpommern, Brandenburg also had loads of crystal clear lakes, streets with trees on sides, a peaceful rural area, as well as natural scenery. Small villages and cultural attractions Brandenburg had a long and meaningful history. In the last three hundred years, the former city garison, Potsdam, has become one of Europe’s grandest royal cities.

When visitors watch from near the Palace of Sanssouci with terraced gardens, water spurting or walking along the street with tree-lined on both sides toward New Castle, will be able to feel why many princes, kings or emperors like to stay in Potsdam. The park around the Sanssouci Palace is one of the most spectacular parks in Europe. The area surrounding Sanssouci Palace, a summer resident empire, covering an area of approximately 500 hectares and consists of 150 buildings. King Frederick II of Prussia and his generation have many houses and palaces in and around Potsdam, in a comprehensive complex-baroque artistic style.
